BOPA organised this conference in which they invited members of “Coventry Champions” in their effort to raise awareness about presence of Asian businesses in Coventry & Warwickshire. Lord Tarsem King, BOPA Founder Patron, supported this event and was the opening speaker. Mr Les Ratcliff, Chair of Coventry Champions, Mr Duncan Eldrige, President of Morgan Composites & Defence Systems, Ms Joss Parry, Asstt Chief Executive of Coventry City Council, Mr Amrik Bhabra – President of Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce were some of the main speakers in this Business conference. The Conference managed to raise the profile of Asian businesses in Coventry & Warwickshire. There are numerous retail, small to medium size Asian businesses that are doing well and making a fantastic contribution to the economy of the City of Coventry.
